Morocco (Tangier)
1st and 2nd of March 2007
Kind of out of Focus but had to start of the Tangier section with the dopest taxi driver ever,
Younes (might be spelled differently, but thats how it sounded)! We arrived in Tangier, and it was
MAD SKETCHY, people trying to rip us off, asking if we want drugs right in front of the Police and
so on. Anyhow we asked a bunch of taxis to take us to our Hotel, but non knew where it was, so
luck faced our way cause we bumped into this dude, who drove us around and after realizing that
the Hotel we reserved was in a dangerous area, took us to a proper on in the center of Tangier.
He loved saying "Lets go", and the 20 minute ride only cost a little bit more then a Dollar.
The Moroccan Currency, dirhams. 11 Dirhams= 1 Euro
The Hotel in which we stayed in still didn't seem to legit, so we just got some food around the
corner to return to the room asap, before the expensive Camera equipments in the room would
be stolen. Josh drinking a Coke.
We woke up and i just took some picture out the Window.
We bumped into three skaters, who were sooo hyped to meet us. I remember two of the names, Yassime and Reda.
My bad Bryan, took this Picture a Milli second to early.
That  means "STOP". Gotta learn Arabic...
I fell in love with this Stop sign, I could have took like 40 more pictures but had to save film.
Asked some girls for a picture with the Stop sign.
The kids took us to an actually pretty good spot, where we filmed some tight shit from Bryan.
Bryan brought his GL2 along the trip.
Starving Cat
After skating Tangier, buying some souvenir and me mopeding with a local, we went to the Train
Station where we got a glimpse into a poverty. People living in huts, etc.
Josh and I dared to go a little closer, but felt the sketchiness of it.
I played some soccer with the Kids, while Josh was filming. They asked for money, but we didn't
have any change on us, so we gave them some cigarettes, which they fought over afterwards.
Then took the train from Tangier to Casablanca, 1st Class for 175 Dirhams (17 Euros) for a 5 hour journey.
Pretty cheap but the sight was nothing but AMAZING.
I filmed instead of taking pictures, so you can't see here, but the beginning of the train ride from Tangier
to Casablanca, the things we saw, seriously the most amazing train ride i have ever took in my life.
